CAN I HELP?
Support for health professionals and their patients
When referrals are helpful
Patients are referred to me when they need ongoing guidance in areas such as:
- regaining strength and mobility after injury
- rebuilding confidence and strength following surgery
- improving posture and reducing compensatory patterns
- managing chronic stiffness or movement avoidance
- restoring balance and mobility in older adults
- learning safe, functional, and effective movement
- supporting long term adherence to movement guidance
My work complements clinical treatment by providing consistent, personalised support that continues beyond immediate medical intervention.
I have had great success with the older patient group from Tanya Wyatt, who has helped them retain and improve posture, balance and other of the needed faculties of older age. She has been extremely effective in my own and my patient’s needs in this regard and I could not recommend her more highly.
I just wanted to thank you for introducing me to Tanya. We’ve been working together since September 2025. She is excellent to work with and has given me a programme for mobilisation, stretching and strengthening tailored to my specific needs.
She is sharply focused, constructive and friendly in the sessions, so I am highly motivated to do the work. After this relatively short time, I’ve still a long way to go, but the stoop is a thing of the past, my walking is much improved, and I’m tentatively back on the tennis court.
However, my mobility had suffered following a six-month recovery from foot surgery. You suggested that I might embark on remedial physiotherapy and were kind enough to provide me with the contact details of Tanya Wyatt as the ideal person to help me in that respect.
Tanya and I have worked together for the past 14 weeks; an enjoyable hourly session per week has produced rewarding results. Her highly valued expertise, encouragement and advice, as well as focused exercises to improve posture and stimulate inactive muscles have made a huge difference. My progressing mobility is heartening and liberating
How I work with referred clients
My approach is gentle, precise and clear. I begin by observing how the patient moves in their home environment. I then introduce focused corrective cues, along with controlled strength, mobility and stretching work plus simple guidance they can understand and apply.
There’s no pressure, no overwhelming routine and no competing advice. I move at the pace your patient can manage and adapt as their confidence grows.
If helpful, I can keep you updated on their progress and/or area of concern.
Let’s support your patients together
I believe that clear communication, consistent guidance and a supportive, structured approach helps people rebuild confidence in their bodies. If you’d like to explore collaboration, or refer patients for movement support, I’d be so happy to help.
