MOVEMENT SUPPORT

For injury recovery, prehab, posture, strength and mobility

Whether you are recovering from injury, managing a long-standing postural problem or simply finding that your body feels less capable than it used to, this is where we start. Sessions are calm, structured and built entirely around you. No pressure, no generic programmes. Just focused work that creates real, lasting change.

Rehab and prehab coaching

Support for injury recovery and preparing safely for surgery

Recovery from injury or surgery takes more than rest. It takes structured, progressive movement work that rebuilds strength, restores stability and gives you confidence in your body again.

I work with clients who are ready to start moving again but unsure how to do so safely. Whether you are preparing for a procedure or rebuilding afterwards, sessions are paced to where you are right now and progress as your body is ready.

Ideal for people who:

  • Are recovering from surgery or injury
  • Are managing ongoing discomfort or movement avoidance
  • Are preparing their body ahead of a planned procedure
  • Are returning to movement after a long period of inactivity

What you can expect

We identify areas of weakness or compensation and work gently but effectively to restore confidence and control. Progress is paced so you feel supported, not pushed.

Posture correction

Release strain, improve alignment and reduce everyday tension

Posture problems are rarely about laziness or bad habits. They are usually the result of how your joints stack, move and compensate for areas of weakness or restriction. Telling yourself to sit up straight does not address any of that.

I look at the patterns creating stiffness or strain and work with you to correct them through focused exercises and clear movement cues. Clients often notice changes in comfort and ease within the first few sessions.

Ideal for people who:

  • Sit for long hours at a desk
  • Experience tightness in the back, neck or shoulders
  • Notice imbalance or uneven weight distribution
  • Want to feel lighter, more aligned and more comfortable day to day

What you can expect

We remove unnecessary tension, improve alignment and strengthen the areas that support everyday posture. Clients often notice immediate changes in comfort and ease.

Strength conditioning

Build control, tone and joint stability

Strength is not just a fitness goal. For anyone recovering from injury, surgery or a long period of inactivity, rebuilding it is an essential part of getting back to full function.

Sessions focus on controlled, progressive movements that restore stability, rebuild muscle and support the joints and structures affected by injury or surgery. We work carefully and deliberately, building strength at a pace your body can manage without risk of setback.

Ideal for people who:

  • are rebuilding strength as part of injury or surgical recovery
  • have lost muscle tone or stability after a period of inactivity
  • need to strengthen specific areas to support rehabilitation
  • want to regain physical confidence safely and sustainably

What you can expect

You’ll learn to move with precision so that  strength develops exactly where it’s needed. This approach creates long-lasting results rather than quick wins that don’t stick.

Mobility and balance coaching

Movement support for older adults

Staying steady, mobile and confident is not a given. But it is absolutely achievable with the right kind of work.

These sessions focus on balance, coordination, range of movement and functional strength. Everything is tailored to your current ability and progressed at a pace that feels manageable. The goal is to make everyday tasks feel easier and safer, and to keep you active and independent for the long term.

Ideal for people who:

  • Feel unsteady or are concerned about falling
  • Notice stiffness or reduced range of movement
  • Want to stay active and independent
  • Are rebuilding after illness or a long period of inactivity

What you can expect

We progress gradually, focusing on safety, stability and real-life movement. You’ll move better, feel steadier and regain confidence in your body’s ability.

Not sure where to start?

You don’t need to decide before booking. Your first session will give clarity on what your body needs and how we can move forward together.
